So I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7.  I am having the hardest time connecting to networks when I am on the move.  I keep getting the “Limited connectivity” message.  So frustrating. 

Is there way to change a network from Public to Private? 

Is there a way to manually Identify a network or allow a network by name? (does that make sense?)

I had the same issue once I loaded Windows 7 however I turned everything off.  I this order,

1. Turn on the router (give it enough time to completely boot up)
2. Turn on the PC.
